Modernizing without stopping the service
I moved a system with years in production from Spring Boot 1.5 and Java 8 to Spring Boot 3 and Java 21, and its frontend from Angular 10 to 17, adding Docker and Redis on the way. For the next major version I migrated it to WebFlux and led the frontend rewrite in Angular 21.
Account security
MFA, device-bound sessions, sign-in approval from the mobile app, SSO with OIDC and SAML, and rate limiting. I also fixed access-control and XSS flaws.
Performance, reports and heavy jobs
PDF and Excel generation at scale, resumable bulk jobs spread across a two-node cluster, and usage-based billing with refunds. I measure in production before I optimize.
The next platform
I proposed and started building a reactive microservices platform: one database per service, messaging with dead-letter queues, API contracts that generate the TypeScript client, and distributed traces that follow a request through the queues.
WhatsApp, CRM and AI
I connected ads that open WhatsApp to an Odoo CRM, with a first-contact bot that hands the conversation to a person and an AI agent that books appointments only in free slots.
